In Aid of Malaysia Flood Survivors

The Rahmatan Lil Alamin (Blessings to all) Foundation (RLAF), in collaboration with the Singapore Red Cross, is organising a collection to address the needs of communities affected by the floods in Malaysia.

In December 2021, continuous heavy rain had resulted in severe floods – the deadliest to hit Malaysia since 1996 – affecting eight states across Malaysia. The tropical cyclone-related disaster consequently displaced more than 71,000 residents while at least 48 had been killed. Severe and widespread property damage has also resulted in loss of income and impacted the livelihoods of many.

For this reason, the RLAF is conducting an online collection via multiple platforms starting Monday, 24 January to 30 January 2022 to assist in providing basic household needs (food and hygiene kits) and mental health and psychosocial support to the survivors.

Members of the public can make their donation via the various online avenues or by issuing a cheque:

a. PayNow – key in RLAF’s UEN: 200910530ZCHQ and indicate ‘Malaysia Flood‘ under remarks (Refer to Annex A for QR Code)

c. Muslim.SG – RLAF – Malaysia Flood d. Interbank transfer via RLAF (Rahmatan lil Alamin Foundation) – transfer to OCBC Current Account at a/c no: 601313315001

e. Issue a cheque payable to ‘RLAF’. State on back of cheque: donor’s name, contact number and indicate “Malaysia Flood”. Mail your cheque to RLAF (Masjid Yusof Ishak, No 10, Woodlands Drive 17, Singapore 737740) or to MUIS (No. 273 Braddell Road, Singapore 579702)
