RLAF, in collaboration with the @unicef , the Jord

RLAF, in collaboration with the @unicef , the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (@_jhco ), and local organisation @humanitymatters_sg (HM), conducted a fundraising from 18 September to 13 December 2024 to address the humanitarian needs of children and their families in Gaza.

Over nearly three months, Singaporeans demonstrated remarkable compassion and solidarity, contributing a total of SGD$2,608,717 (before audit) to the cause.

RLAF expresses profound gratitude for the outpouring of support, generosity, and compassion from Singaporeans, as well as from individuals, groups, and organisations alike. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to alleviating the suffering of the people of Gaza, providing hope and relief to children and families enduring hardships.

Our fundraising appeal for Gaza 2024, after three months of collection, closed on 13 December, but our hearts and prayers continue to be with the innocent victims in Gaza.

Q: Why can’t we donate to RLAF outside the period of donation?

A: It is because the permit we obtained from the Commissioner of Charities (CoC) is only applicable for the campaign date (18 September - 13 December 2024).

We are currently in the process of consolidating and accounting for all contributions and will provide updates soon.

Throwback to 1st December, over 300 volunteers from all walks of life came together to help pack relief items for Gaza. This is in collaboration between @rlafoundationsg and @humanitymatters_sg .

A heartfelt thank you once again to @harmonycirclesg for their incredible efforts in raising $538,000 through the Harmony-in-Action fundraising campaign. These funds will provide critical aid to children and families affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Meet Lana, a resilient 10-year-old in Gaza, eager to learn and thrive despite the challenges she faces. Alongside her peers, Lana symbolizes the unyielding spirit of Gaza’s children, who yearn for safety, education, and a brighter future. ⭐️

Through the funds raised during our Ramadan Appeal for Gaza (20–26 March 2024), RLAF and UNICEF have provided essential support, including access to education and child protection services, ensuring children like Lana can continue their learning journeys.

Amidst the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip, child

Amidst the ongoing crisis in the Gaza Strip, children face the risk of missing a second consecutive school year. 85% of schools are damaged or destroyed.

UNICEF and the Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF) provide crucial support for vulnerable children in the Gaza Strip with the Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS), enabling 8,500 children aged 7-13 to engage in regular learning lessons in Math, English, Arabic and Science to prevent them from learning loss.

The funds raised were from the previous fundraising this year ‘Ramadan Appeal for Gaza’ from 20–26 March 2024.

Posted @withregram • zaqym Today, I had the privilege of joining my colleagues, Mayor Alex Yam and Ms. Hany Soh at the closing ceremony of our humanitarian aid campaign, Marsiling-Yew Tee GIVES. Over the course of this one-month campaign, together we raised more than $600,000 and sold over 3,000 briyani meals, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community.

What a journey it has been! We are truly humbled by the overwhelming support we’ve received.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being with us throughout this past month. Your kindness has truly touched lives and made a meaningful impact, showing the strength of a united community.
