We are deeply grateful for the incredible response to our “Ramadan Appeal for Gaza.” In just one week, your generous contributions have reached a staggering $2,003,478 (before audit). This remarkable achievement reflects the compassion and solidarity of our community.

We extend our sincere thanks to each donor. Your contributions will make a life-changing difference, providing essential healthcare, relief, and shelter to those affected in Gaza. All donations will be channeled through UNICEF, which is actively operating on the ground to provide humanitarian aid to the victims and families.

Combined with last year’s total of $8,114,422, our Gaza appeals have raised $10 million! Thank you, Singapore, for proving the enduring spirit of giving.

RLAF aims to encourage the spirit and culture of giving, care and compassion by developing empathy and understanding for others, fostering gratitude and providing a sense of fulfilment, in the spirit of Ramadan.

The ‘Blessings to All’ project is carried out

The ‘Blessings to All’ project is carried out with the support of several organisations. This year, about 30 community centres (CC) supported in distributing vouchers over the weekends throughout the month of Ramadan at multiple distribution points across Singapore. We aim to reach needy families from various neighbourhoods.

Through the participation of volunteers and beneficiaries of different backgrounds, RLAF also aims to bring people together and create a sense of solidarity through the act of giving back and making a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Last Saturday, a heartening display of collaboration unfolded as the Sri Muneeswaran Temple, @mujahidinmosque, and RLAF volunteers joined forces to distribute vouchers at Mujahidin Mosque.

Simultaneously, Tasek Utara Mosque and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, together with RLAF volunteers, embarked on door-to-door distribution effort.

This collaborative effort underscores the spirit of unity and compassion that lies at the heart of RLAF’s mission. 🙌🏼
