We are thankful for the outpouring of support and donations towards our humanitarian relief for Gaza campaign which has collected a total of $6,788,897 over the period of fundraising.

We thank all individuals and organizations who generously contributed to help provide essential aid in the form of health, relief, and shelter to communities who are in dire need in Gaza through our ground partner, UNRWA.

Funding that is contributed to @unrwa is channelled directly towards the implementation of services in the fields – in this case, to cover the UNRWA Gaza field’s delivery of immediate humanitarian assistance in response to the current hostilities.

Based on the latest update from UNRWA, they had received 187 trucks carrying humanitarian supplies at their reception points.

Thank you to everyone who had contributed towards bringing relief to the affected communities.

On 18 November, RLAF hosted its first-ever Stroll

On 18 November, RLAF hosted its first-ever Stroll for Disability Awareness at Gardens By The Bay in celebration of Rahmatan Lil Alamin (RLA) Day. More than 500 participants, including individuals with disabilities and their caregivers from disability social service agencies, and students, volunteers, and staff from Muslim organizations, gathered together to passionately advocate for disability awareness and cultivate meaningful engagements at the Flower Dome.

Our participants had the opportunity to embark on a bite-sized learning journey about RLAF and disability in Singapore via our 6 quiz stations located within the Flower Dome itself.

This two-sessions stroll was also graced by Guest-of-Honours, Chief Executive of Muis, Mr Kadir Maideen, and Deputy Chief Executive of Muis, Mr Khairul Anwar.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming support our event received.

The First Tranche of Humanitarian Relief for Gaza

The First Tranche of Humanitarian Relief for Gaza Appeal - US$1.474 million

On Friday, 10th November, our CEO, Mr. Faizal Othman, handed over the first tranche of the fundraising appeal, over SGD $2 million (US$1.474 million), to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees ( @unrwa ).

During the cheque handover ceremony in Cairo, Egypt, Mr. Andrew Hyslop, the Senior Humanitarian Principle Coordinator of UNRWA, said, "On behalf of UNRWA and the Palestinian refugees we assist, I express my gratitude for the generous support from the donors. We are grateful for the cooperation of the Singaporean government and the people of Singapore, particularly RLAF, in supporting our efforts to provide urgent humanitarian supplies to the population in Gaza."

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the people of Singapore, whose unwavering support and generosity have made this contribution possible.

4th November marked a special day for RLAF, as we

4th November marked a special day for RLAF, as we proudly participated in our first Purple Parade.

With 52 passionate RLAF volunteers, we celebrated diversity and walked hand in hand for disability awareness.

Our RLAF Learning Adventure booth also welcomed over 70 visitors who wanted to know more about RLAF and the disability cause. It was a heartwarming day indeed.

RLAF has received an extension of permit from the Commissioner of Charities (CoC) and the collection will now be conducted until Friday, 17 November 2023.
