On 24 January 2026, RLAF hosted its annual Appreciation Day, dedicated to honouring our partnering organisations, corporate donors, and volunteers whose unwavering support makes our work possible. The event was a heartfelt expression of gratitude to those who have stood alongside us and contributed to our mission.

Emceed by DJ AB Shaik from WARNA 942, the day was filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful connections. Corporate donors and partnering organisations were presented with tokens of appreciation in the form of certificates and commemorative plaques, recognising their valued contributions and continued support of RLAF — support that has enabled us to grow and achieve what we have today.

Each mosque district also received a token of appreciation in recognition of their continuous collaboration with RLAF, particularly for their strong support in the recent mosque donation collection for our Aid for Gaza 2026 campaign.

Our volunteers were recognised with certificates of commendation and excellence, with special awards presented to individuals who made outstanding contributions throughout 2025. Volunteers who received the Excellence Awards were presented their certificates by members of RLAF’s Board of Trustees: Mr Hanif Nomanbhoy, Mr Faiz, and Mr Ridhwan Bin Mohd Basor.

The event concluded on a high note with an exciting lucky draw, where 20 lucky winners took to the stage to receive prizes ranging from well-known branded electronics to home appliances.
