Standing Together with Communities in Their Time of Need

On 26 August 2026, catastrophic flash floods struck the Nepal-Tibet border region, causing widespread devastation. The disaster has reportedly claimed 550 lives, with more than 1,500 people still missing. Homes, roads, bridges and other critical infrastructure have been badly damaged, leaving affected communities in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.

In response, Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF) has launched a humanitarian fundraising appeal to raise S$50,000 in support of urgent relief efforts for affected families and communities. The campaign will run from 1 to 14 September 2026.

Your Support Can Make a Difference

In the aftermath of a disaster, access to basic necessities can provide much-needed relief and dignity to those affected.

Donations raised through this appeal will be handed to the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) for onward disbursement to support humanitarian relief efforts on the ground. This includes the provision of drinking water and essential emergency supplies such as tarpaulins, blankets, sleeping mats, first-aid kits and body bags.
