Overcoming Challenges, Strengthening Inclusion
of Persons with Disabilities

This year, an inaugural forum is conducted as part of RLA Day with the theme “Overcoming Challenges, Strengthening Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities”, to provide a platform for discussion and reflection on best practices in developing an inclusive society, and to further encourage collaborations between social service agencies and the Singapore Muslim community. I am heartened to see many leaders from both sectors gathered together today for this purpose. We are glad that more and new organizations have come in to join this year’s RLA Day including MudaSG, the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI),

Mendaki, Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah, Madrasah Al-Ma’arif Al- Islamiyah, APSN, Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS), the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) and the Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf).
