Project Officers (Temporary Positions)

We have two vacancies for Project Officer on a short-term basis (3-6 months) in the following areas:

A. Marketing and Communications

  • Assist in promotion and branding of RLAF through content creation and management of social media platforms
  • Assist in featuring RLAF projects and trainings such as a mix of motivation and human stories of volunteers and beneficiaries, including their pre-project preparations and local CIPs
  • Support in planning and execution of public education (PE) campaigns
  • Lead and participate in creative content brainstorming sessions
  • Provide and support plans in stakeholder engagement, including exploring relevant trends
  • Provide relevant points for real-time messages (including well-wishes for festivities and messages of hope in times of disaster)
  • Produce copy for social media captions and descriptions
  • Increase post-campaign engagement with the public

B. Programme & Volunteer Management

  • Assist in planning and executing programmes and events, ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Manage administration and logistics such as liasing with vendors, material preparation
  • Administrative support in managing volunteers for training and deployment
  • Assist in planning and conducting volunteer-related initiatives
  • Ensure effective communication with volunteers

Other Responsibilities for Both Positions

  • Perform and handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
  • Other administrative support to the team such as filing of finance documents
  • Support RLAF events/projects through documenting events with photos and videos, set-up events
  • Marketing admin matters such as sorting out artworks, files, photos and videos
  • Liaise with vendors for printing materials.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements

> Technical Competencies

  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint and use of social media
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills to work and meet deadlines
  • Up-to-date with advancements in office gadgets and applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proactive in problem solving and has a positive attitude

> Preferred qualification/experience

  • Minimum: Diploma, in relevant background
  • Relevant events/project management experience
