Last Friday, we had our inaugural humanitarian webinar in partnership with Mercy Relief. The webinar is part of a specially curated programme that offers participants an opportunity to understand what it takes to be effective humanitarian workers and how they function to serve humanity and transform lives. The 1-hour session was effectively facilitated by the International Programmes team from Mercy Relief, namely Mr. Masahiro Ishizeki and Mr. Khairul Massuan.
We would like to thank all 100 participants for being there with us. We had representatives from organisations like Advocates for Refugees – Singapore, Majulah Community and Wateroam as well as institutions such as Madrasah Aljunied Al-Islamiah and Madrasah Al-Arabiah Al-Islamiah. We hope you gained better understanding of the SG humanitarian industry and some bits of disaster management.
We had an overwhelming response asking for a re-run of the programmes so do keep a lookout for them in the future. In the meantime, for those who have registered for our Webinar 2 and 3 (sadly, they are sold out), we shall see you again soon!
