We are organising a special fund raising effort in aid of the victims of the floods that have befallen the people of South Asia.

The affected countries, Bangladesh, India and Nepal have put the death toll at more than 1,200. According to humanitarian relief agency the Red Cross, many villages are now only accessible by boat and its citizens are running out of food supplies.

HOW TO DONATE

#1 - Donation boxes will be placed at all 71 mosques beginning Friday, 8 September to Thursday, 14 September 2017. All boxes will be marked “Special Collection in Aid of Victims of South Asia Floods”

#2 - You can contribute online via https://zakat.sg/ePayment/donations.aspx

#3 - You can offer your donation in cash or by cheque. All cheques should be made payable to “RLAF” with the words “Special Collection in Aid of Victims of South Asia Floods” written on the back. Cash and cheques can be delivered to RLAF at our office - Level 4, Masjid Yusof Ishak, 10 Woodlands Drive 17, Singapore 737740.

PARTNERSHIP WITH MERCY RELIEF

Funds collected will be handed over to Mercy Relief and they will provide immediate life-saving relief and aid in the form of food, clean water, medicine and basic necessities. We pray that the people of South Asia affected by the floods will be given the strength and resilience to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of the floods.
